1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GoCultivo Beauty Salon website located at gocultivo.com (the "Site"), as well as requests and bookings you make through the Site, by phone, email, or in person (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Site or booking an appointment with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or our Services.

2. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised. Changes are effective when posted. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

3. Appointments & Bookings

• Requests submitted online are confirmed only after we contact you.
• We may require a deposit or card-on-file to hold some appointments.
• Appointment confirmations and reminders may be sent by email, SMS, or phone.
• Some services require consultation before booking.

4. Pricing & Payments

• Prices shown online are in Canadian dollars and are subject to change.
• Exact pricing may vary based on hair length, product usage, and service complexity.
• Taxes are additional unless stated.
• We accept major payment methods shown in-salon; deposits may be processed electronically.

5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Late Arrivals

• Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee or loss of deposit.
• Arriving more than 10 minutes late may shorten your service or require rescheduling.

6. Services & Results

Our stylists and beauty professionals strive for excellent results, but outcomes vary by individual hair, skin type, starting condition, and aftercare. We do not guarantee identical results to photos or prior visits. Please follow maintenance instructions provided by your stylist or technician.

GoCultivo Beauty Salon provides cosmetic and self-care services. We do not provide medical treatment or diagnosis. Consult a licensed healthcare professional for medical concerns.

7. Client Conduct & Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone for behavior that is unsafe, abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate, or if we believe a requested service is unsafe or unsuitable.

8. Health, Allergies & Sensitivities

Please inform us in advance of any allergies, sensitivities, or recent medical procedures that may affect treatment (for example, skin sensitivities before waxing or certain cosmetic products). We can suggest alternative products when possible, but cannot guarantee allergen-free environments.

9. Services for Minors

Guests under the age of majority in Ontario must have a parent or legal guardian provide consent for most services. Some services may require a guardian to be present during the appointment.

10. Retail Products, Returns & Refunds

• Retail products purchased in-salon may be returned unopened with receipt within 14 days for exchange or store credit.
• Opened or used products are final sale unless defective.
• Service fees are generally non-refundable; please see our Re-do Policy below.

11. Gift Cards, Packages & Memberships

• Gift cards are redeemable for services and retail unless otherwise stated.
• Cards are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash (unless required by law).
• Promotional cards may have expiry dates; paid value does not expire where prohibited by law.

12. Promotions & Discounts

• Promotions cannot always be combined.
• Intro offers are for new clients unless noted.
• We may end a promotion early or limit quantities.

13. Website Use & Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by or licensed to GoCultivo Beauty and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view the Site for personal, non-commercial use. Reproduction, distribution, or modification without permission is prohibited.

14. Reviews & User Submissions

If you submit reviews, testimonials, photos, or other content, you grant GoCultivo Beauty a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, and display that content in connection with our business (including marketing), subject to any legal limitations. You are responsible for ensuring that submissions do not infringe the rights of others.

15. Third-Party Links & Tools

Our Site may link to third-party websites, booking tools, or payment processors. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content or privacy practices. Use those services at your own risk and review their terms.

16. Disclaimers

Except where prohibited by law, the Site and Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Cosmetic outcomes vary; results are not guaranteed.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoCultivo Beauty and its owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoCultivo Beauty, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site or Services.

19. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in Ontario, Canada, unless otherwise required by consumer protection law.
